Yesterday, Anthony and I went over to Whole Foods in White Plains to deliver the First order of HMH, samples and gift packs for the salespeople. While we were there - we had to shop, of course. Among the other treasures, such as a can or roasted hazelnut oil at I won't even tell you how much, I scored the biggest most beautiful artichokes I've ever seen.
So this is what I did this morning. I've stuffed them with plain breadcrumbs flavored with garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt and black pepper, with olive oil mashed in. Then a bit of Olive oil drizzled over the top. Usually I just steam them plain with a butter and lemon dip, but I wanted to make them enough for a light meal with a salad - so stuffing it was!
As you can see, I needed two pots. They'll be ready in about ten minutes. YUM!
