The inspiration: the high veldt at Domboshawa National Park
Part of the incredibly gorgeous stash I acquired at the New Hampshire sheep and Wool for the project:
Some added stash from home:
Now...what shall I make?
I'm thinking a perhaps a throw ala Colinette Perigino? I could use the zigzag pattern like Jaywalker,
like the one in Colinette's Ab Fab...
Anyone have any ideas?
A throw is a great idea. A shawl is a good idea too. You could wrap yourself in all that wonderful yarn while picking over apples at the farmer's market this fall.
I'm partial to Feathers and Fan. It zigs and zags more gently than the jaywalkers' pattern. The flow would be softer from one yarn to the next, more graceful like the soft mounds of grass on the high veldt.

I say, go for the throw! Those luxurious fibers deserve as large an expanse to lay your eyes on as you can manage. :)
