There are apparently three variety of salamander in New Mexico: Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum), Sacramento Mountain Salamander (Aneides hardii), and Jemez Mountains Salamander (Plethodon neomexicanus). You might google some images yourself, but it looks to me like a Sacramento Mountain Salamander: http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=Aneides+hardii
